Our Programs
Empowering young girls through increased access to resources and economic empowerment programs to enhance their ability to make informed decisions and utilize Sexual Reproductive Health and rights (SRHR) services
-
One-on-One and group mentorship
To increase adolescents’ access to life skills information and resources through individual and group mentorship. RYMI operates four (4) Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights clubs in three high schools and one community. RYMI operates a mentorship program that pairs adolescent girls and young women with young professional female mentors to promote socio-economic growth.
-
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
To strengthen adolescent girls’ ability to seek SRH information and affordable reproductive health services within selected communities. Young people who are members of the RYMI clubs lead youth-led initiatives and advocacy campaigns related to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and Menstrual Hygiene in their communities, schools, and national.
-
Academic enrichment program
To create access to educational opportunities for adolescent girls within selected communities through financial aid and educational enrichment programs. RYMI operates academic enrichment programs to increase young girls' access to formal education. We enhance girls' ability to complete school through two means—financial aid and annual vacation programs.
-
Economic Empowerment
To help increase the income for less privileged girls (teenage mothers/young women who experienced teenage pregnancy) through economic empowerment training and small business packages.
